If you want to get rid of the fat and tone your belly, you just made a good decision.  Belly fat is not only unsightly, but it is also dangerous.

Accumulating fat in your belly causes several health problems.  Carrying excess fat often leads to heart disease, diabetes, and other illnesses.

Carrying excess fat does not only mean carrying the physical weight, it also carries a burden on the person’s health. Overweight people are prone to several menacing health conditions such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure.

Belly fat is dangerous because it makes it store fat in your liver.  The fat in your liver will make your body to resist insulin.  This will make you more prone to overeating and this will trigger a vicious cycle. You eat more means you gain more weight. You gain more weight means you will have more health problems

How to lose stomach fat? There are several ways to get rid of the belly fat but the best way is jogging.

You might think sit-ups and crunches or sit-ups would help more with the abs, but it does not.  Jogging increases your heart rate and helps burn belly fat. However, you must jog for at least 30 minutes every time or there will be no results.

Belly dancing is good way to eliminate belly fat.  Belly dancing is effective and it is also fun. It burns 200-400 calories an hour!  Belly also tones the belly muscles

A change in your diet and your exercise can flatten tummy. Drinking water instead of alcohol considerably decreases the gut size.  Alcohol has plenty of unnecessary calories.  The more alcohol in your drink, the more belly fat, hence the term “beer belly.”

Making your fast food diet healthier also helps getting rid of that spare tire.  Just by reducing the sugar content in your diet makes wonders to your body.

If you are a sweet tooth, use both organic and artificial sweeteners instead of the real sugar.  Sugar substitute works for baking and coffee. Using honey to sweeten tea helps greatly.

Sodium intake among Americans is too high.  High level of sodium in your body makes you thirstier. The thirstier you are, the more prone you are to have high-sugar drinks.  Want to lose those belly fat?  Yes, you can. You just need a few minor adjustment.
